Video: The Mummery-Cult Of Pairs Set Free

The Mummery-Cult Of Pairs Set Free   In response to Shakespeare's famous monologue, "All the world's a stage", from his play, As You Like It, Adi Da Samraj wrote the extraordinary poem, "The Mummery-Cult Of Pairs Set Free", which appears in His Happenine Book.

Because Adi Da intended this as a direct response to William Shakespeare, reciter Steve Brown is standing before the River Avon in Stratford, Shakespeare's hometown.

Videographer: Matt Braithwaite

The Orpheum Trilogy. Adi Da's principal literary (and theatrical) work is His trilogy entitled The Orpheum. The three parts of the trilogy are The Mummery Book, The Scapegoat Book, and The Happenine Book. For more, visit our section, The Sacred Literature and Theater of Adi Da and Adidam.
