In this excerpt from the CD, The Ultimate Outshining of Death, Adi Da communicates, with great passion and compassion, the only way to be truly Free of the sorrow from the loss of a loved one.
Adi Da: "Loss, or separation — apparent separation through death or any other life-happening — is not only possible, it is inevitable. And there is nothing amusing about it. It is so. It is not possible to be consoled about it. But it is possible to be Free, utterly Free — only by Realizing That Which Is Inherently Free."
Adi Da (at 2:30) clarifies the distinctions between the first six stages of life and the seventh stage Realization. He focuses on the distinction between the most advanced Realization of the sixth stage of life, sixth stage Sahaja Nirvikalpa Samadhi, and the seventh stage Realization. Sahaja Nirvikalpa Samadhi is demonstrated by Ramana Maharshi, for example, and suggested by texts such as the Ashtavakra Gita, the Ribhu Gita, and the Tripura Rahasya (all mentioned by Adi Da in this clip) which Adi Da calls "premonitory" relative to the seventh stage of life. Sahaj Nirvikalpa Samadhi differs from the less advanced trance samadhis of the sixth stage in that one recognizes conditional existence as arising in the Self, and one can function in the world open-eyed. Even so, there is still a separation between Self and world. The seventh stage Realization is signalled by the regeneration of Amrita Nadi, and the complete dissolution of any difference between Consciousness and Its Radiance. Consequently, the lifetime of the seventh stage Realizer is signed by a progressive Outshining of conditional existence that goes through four stages: Divine Transfiguration, Divine Transformation, Divine Indifference, and Divine Translation.

In response to a devotee's question Adi Da serves her (and all) by pointing out that to ask a question in the first place is to already be in the position of dilemma and thus separation from the Divine Reality Itself.
Adi Da Samraj recites the final section of His Lion Sutra (which is now published in Part 15 of The Aletheon). He calls on the reader to transcend the "disease of separation and seeking" that is the egoic self, and to "Swoon in Consciousness Itself."
This book is the most concise presentation of Adi Da's "Radical" Argument: "Seeking and attaining are a Total loss, and loss itself is the Only discovery of gain" and a direct and uncompromising invitation to self-transcendence and Divine Self-Realization.

In this discourse Adi Da calls us to understand the doctrines and spiritual attainments of humankind not as separate traditions or paths but as a whole: a single "Great Tradition". He also urges humankind to transcend merely belief-based religious myths, dogma, and "religious provincialism" which only support egoic separation and conflict.

In this excerpt (from an Avataric Discourse from 2005), a devotee asks Adi Da a question about the nature of the ego and what is causing the sense of self-separation. In response, Adi Da describes how the Divine is the substance of all that arises, not the "cause" of anything. Our own activity (of separating from the Divine) causes the assumption of separation.

The Greatest Secret of the final Avatar is revealed in heart communion. As He puts it: "I am you, as you really are". No mind, no separation, all is freely given and washed in that communion. This is not a belief but something for you to freely discover through your own heart-feeling.
