In this talk excerpt, Adi Da addresses the fact that Truth or God-Realization is not dependent on, nor does it have anything to do with, the functions and activities of the body-mind. It cannot be achieved through sex, science, or even religion.

This podcast is drawn from two talks in which Adi Da talks about science and scientific materialism. He describes what science can serve and what the limits are in its endeavor to discover the truth about Reality.
In this Adidam Revelation Discourse from January 21, 2005, Adi Da reveals that Liberation cannot ever be achieved through sex, science, or religion! And He makes the astounding assertion, “Realization has nothing to do with the body-mind.”
Watch this DVD for Adi Da's Instruction on True Freedom, which He says is discovered only in the utter transcending of “point of view”, by means of the Transmission of Reality Itself. "The 'self'-contraction, the 'point of view', the 'point-of-view'-machine and what it presumes to be Reality, the illusions of Reality created by 'point of view' — these are the important matters to be understood. The 'you' to which you refer as 'I', the ego-'I', is a 'point-of-view'-machine. It is subject to the illusions of the cosmic apparition, the illusions that 'point of view' itself is subject to — space-time, mass, and so forth."
In the excerpts from six unique Discourses included on this 2-CD set, Adi Da reveals how scientific materialism has replaced the sacred orientation in life and indoctrinated humankind into limited belief systems, discussing common views about evolution, astronomy versus astrology, ancient religions, the expanding universe, the “language” of mathematics and shape, and more. In addition, He masterfully describes how knowledge is an effort to achieve power over nature, based on the fundamental illusion that there is such a thing as an independent (or “objective”) “point of view”. In this process, Avatar Adi Da calls His listeners to be free of all false authorities, and to consider the Way that perfectly transcends “point of view” itself.
