From the most ancient times, there have been prophecies of a Bringer of Light who would appear when humanity was lost in darkness. Adi Da's birth was an event of utterly unprecedented magnitude. It was the Incarnation, in human form, of the Divine Reality Itself — the timeless Consciousness that is the Source and the very Life of all that exists. Throughout His entire life, even from the time of His birth, Adi Da Samraj always worked to bring the "Brightness" of the Divine Reality into the "room" of the world. And so on Da Jayanthi ("Jayanthi" is Sanskrit for "Victorious"), we celebrate the Gift of God Present — no longer a question mark for humankind to ponder and doubt, but a Gift for humankind to enjoy and Realize, directly accessible through the Divine Incarnation of Adi Da.

The Celebration Day of Da Jayanthi will include:

 

  • Historical video footage of Avatar Adi Da Samraj

  • Sacred activities in Temple Adi Da, where Bhagavan Adi Da meditated with devotees and granted His Darshan over many years.


  • Closing occasion with guests and devotees receiving gifts that have been Spiritually Blessed by the Eternal Divine Presence of Avatar Adi Da Samraj.

Da Jayanthi is one of the four Sacred Celebrations in 2012 to which public guests interested in and supportive of Adi Da and His Teachings are invited to attend at The Mountain of Attention. The Mountain Of Attention is the Spiritually Empowered Seat of Adi Da's Transmission. Adi Da spent many years doing His Teaching and Blessing Work here before His Divine Mahasamadhi in 2008. It is one of four principal Adidam Hermitage Sanctuaries around the world.
We hope to see you at The Mountain Of Attention for Da Jayanthi! But if you are unable to travel to this most Holy Place, click here to find the nearest regional center where you may be able to celebrate Da Jayanthi.
