The Love-Ananda Leela

This event is for 1C and 2C devotees only.
(Some of the other celebrations each year are open to the public as well.)

You are warmly invited to consider the devotional practice of the telling of Beloved Adi Da's Divine Avataric Leelas. The intention of this retreat is to take Leela-telling to a new depth in participation with Bhagavan Adi Da. There will be the opportunity to find your voice in an intimate setting with other devotees and become open-throated in your feeling-confession of our Beloved Master in your life of practice.

This special retreat will include the following means of Invoking Bhagavan and magnifying the practice of turning the faculties to His Divine Person:

Listening to Spoken Communications from Bhagavan Adi Da about telling the Leelas of His Divine Avataric Life and Work.
Listening to and considering Bhagavan's Spoken Communications about the necessity and process of telling the Leelas of the Submission Years.
Discussion of the profound Miracles and supernormal happenings of Beloved's Divine Avataric Person.
Understanding the difference between a Divine Avataric Leela and a personal testimonial.
Developing a ten-minute Leela based on Bhagavan's Principles and Guidelines, practicing telling it, and receiving feedback from other devotees participating in the retreat.

The retreat will include engaging the daily cycle of contemplation and sacramental worship of Bhagavan, watching Avataric Discourses, listening to recitations, chanting, and study of Bhagavan's Word about Leela-telling from the Adi Da Samrajashram Magazine.


Lynne Wagner is the facilitator of this retreat. Lynne became a devotee of Adi Da Samraj in June 1975 and began serving Adi Da and His Gurukula in 1978, living in His Sanctuaries and Hermitage ashrams and participating directly in the Leela of His Revelation-Work. Recently, she prepared and facilitated trainings for Mission speakers and Adidam event hosts. She is a professional educator with a lifetime teaching credential and an MA.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction.

Registering for the Retreat

NOTE: There are two forms: One is for Lake County residents, the other is for all other 1C & 2C devotees. Send your application to the MOA Retreat Registrar on the Matrix (MOA_Retreat_Registrar@adidam.org) including any questions that you may have.

Please feel free to come at any time and stay as long as you like. Also include your letter of want and need, expressing your devotion and longing to be with Bhagavan Adi Da.

Cost: $10 per session
Walk-On: $50.00/weekend total (does not include meals)

Staying at the Mountain Of Attention:

For those whose choice includes meals: There is an abundance of fresh organic fruits and vegetables, nuts and seeds, grains and legumes at the Sanctuary, much of which is delivered from local farms. Delicious organic meals are prepared for everyone for lunch and dinner consisting of both all raw and cooked food options. For breakfast, everyone makes their own green drink and/or breakfast meal of their choice.

All devotees (including 3C devotees) are encouraged to come to the Sanctuary on a Service Retreat. The cost to stay in the lovely Pile of Poles retreat quarters is $55 per day including meals. Cost is $65 per day for a private room in Lower Goat's Wool. Full-time servers, long-term service retreats, specialized service, internships, please contact MOA Retreat Registrar on the Matrix (MOA_Retreat_Registrar@adidam.org). These retreats will be negotiated on an individual basis.

Adi Da lived and taught and Blessed His devotees at the Mountain of Attention Sanctuary for many years. Spending time at the Mountain Of Attention is a rare opportunity to participate in depth with Adi Da in an extraordinarily Holy Place eternally imbued by Him with His Blessing-Transmission. This Spiritually Empowered Seat of Adi Da's Transmission is one of five Adidam Hermitage Sanctuaries around the world.

The retreat quarters are located at the core of the Mountain Of Attention Sanctuary: in Home Dance (for study, eating, and relaxing) and Pile of Poles and Lower Goats Wool Blanket (for sleeping). These quarters are spacious, attractive, and imbued with Bhagavan Adi Da's Blessing.
