December
6, 2009: We added an article on Devotees
Who Don't Yet Recognize Adi Da as the Divine Person to our Questions
about Adi Da and Adidam section. Adi Da makes clear in The
Aletheon that devotional recognition of Him as the Divine Person is the
necessary prerequisite before one can begin the Way of Adidam — so what
should one do if one finds oneself in the situation of being a devitee who has
not yet recognized Adi Da as the Divine Person?
November
27, 2009:We have greatly expanded our article,
The Necessary Artfulness
in Taking Up Disciplines in the Way of Adidam, in our Questions
about Adi Da and Adidam section. 1. Life Changes Can Help Open One to the
Divine Gift of Recognition of Adi Da as the Divine Person; 2. Self-Discipline
is Necessary Prior to Hearing; 3. The Ego Will Always Find Another Door To Escape
Through Unless All Doors Are Closed; 4. Understanding and Conforming to the Logic
of Adaptation; 5. Disciplining Not Only the Self-Indulger but the Self-Discipliner;
6. Transcending Identification, Differentiation, and Desire; 7. The Artfulness
of Helping Others Take Up Disciplines; 8. Making Life Changes Before Becoming
a Devotee.
November
19, 2009:We added a new page, The
Necessary Artfulness in Taking Up Disciplines in the Way of Adidam, to our
Questions about Adi Da and
Adidam section. From the article: "The evolution of Adi Da's Work with
devotees can be looked at as an ongoing experiment with how two forces 'stack
up' against each other: the Force of the Divine, and the force of the ego. . .
. The following observation from Adi Da pretty much sums up the experiment: "God
is great. Unfortunately for you, bullshit is greater!"
November
6, 2009: Adi Da's devotees have written many books that are either directly
about Adi Da and the Way of Adidam, or about a subject that resonates with or
supports these primary subjects. We've created a
page listing those books, and added it to the Books
section.
October
19, 2009:We have added a blurb in our Art
and Photography section about the new exhibit of Adi Da's Image-Art at the
Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art in Kansas City, Missouri.
October
3, 2009: To our Art
and Photography section, we added a
video (narrated by devotee James Steinberg) that shows Adi Da making His Image-Art,
and also shows scenes from The Mummery Book.
September
28, 2009: We added a page, After
Darshan, to the Spiritual
Transmission section containing letters written by devotees to Adi Da after
receiving His Darshan, describing their reception of His Spiritual Transmission.
September
12, 2009: We added a page to the Books
section on Adi Da's masterpiece, The
Aletheon, which is now available.
September
10, 2009:We have added a blurb in our Art
and Photography section about Adi Da's Image-Art being used as the backdrop
for an upcoming series of performances by the Florence Dance Company at the world-renowned
Bargello Museum in Florence.
September
5, 2009:We added a new subsection, Silver
Hall Sittings, to our Spiritual
Transmission section. The first entry is a story (on video) from Jonathan
Condit, right after he came out of one such sitting with Adi Da.
August
29, 2009:We have added a
new page to our Art
and Photography section about The European Danda's new permanent exhibit,
"The Bright Room Galleries", which contains a variety of Adi Da's Image-Art works.
August
13, 2009:We added a new page to our FAQs
section, on Adidam
and Postmodernism, which addresses the question: How does Adidam compare with
postmodernism? Doesn't postmodernism reject the view that there is an ultimate
Reality? Isn't Adidam oriented around the view that there is an Ultimate Reality?
July23,
2009:We have added a blurb in our Art
and Photography section about Adi Da's art being used as the backdrop for
a new ballet by the Florence Dance Company at the 2009 Florence Dance Festival.
One of the performances was given on the rooftop of the world-renowned Uffizi
Gallery, with the Palazzo Vecchio in the background. Enjoy the video!
