God
Actually Exists
Adi Da talks about Distraction by God and the process
of purification, so that the Infinite Force of the Divine
can be conducted. He particularly talks about the illusion
that spiritual life should be essentially easeful without
the necessity for the heat of the process.
November
17, 2010:
We added a new section, The
Adidam Academy, which will list the upcoming course offerings
from The Adidam Academy.
Armless
At Last (5 parts)
Adi Da talks about doing practice as a seeker vs. practice
as a lover, a non-separate participant. Sadhana is not
about separating out from life (including emotional-sexual
relationships), but rather fully engaging it in its
mystery and its fully polarized play. The "men's tent"
and "women's tent" are only places to consider the play,
not places to live apart from the play, or escape from
it.
God
Actually Exists
Adi Da talks about Distraction by God and the process
of purification, so that the Infinite Force of the Divine
can be conducted. He particularly talks about the illusion
that spiritual life should be essentially easeful without
the necessity for the heat of the process.

The
Obligation of Eternal Life
Adi Da talks about the Law of Sacrifice in relationship
with others and how the stages of sadhana are as a demonstration
of the Law of Sacrifice in one another's company. He
also speaks about it relative to the vertical and horizontal
planes of the vital, subtle and causal being.
The
Myth of "Within"
Adi Da talks about a primary myth within the Spiritual
Traditions: that there is a "one within", a "self",
and that the spiritual process is about turning within
to attain the true self and enlightenment. God is neither
within nor without.
No
Such Thing As Relationship
Adi Da talks about the reflexive activity of contraction
that is the basis of all relationship and the illusion
of fulfillment within it. He also speaks about the process
of observation that is part of the sadhana in His Company.
The
Way of Fun
Adi Da's very humorous and wonderfully instructive talk
from 1987, about how, after being around His devotees,
He "finally got it", that "it's time for the Siddhas"
to adapt to modern times, "time for the Truth to change".
Sixth
Stage Traditions
Adi Da describes various sixth stage traditions. He
discusses the various schools of Buddhism, including
Hinayana, Mahayana, and Vajrayana. He contrasts the
seventh-stage Way of Adidam with these traditions.
Fifth
Stage Traditions
Adi Da discusses various forms of Transmission in the
Great Tradition, with the intent of increasing devotees'
discrimination and relieving them of their own religious
provincialism.

April
24, 2010: We added a page to the Books
section on Adi Da's masterpiece, The
Gnosticon, which is now available.
April
21, 2010:We have added an article, The
Need For a Spiritual Transmission Master, to our FAQs
section, which addresses the question: "I had an
extraordinary Spiritual Revelation without the help of any
Spiritual Master. I'm not sure why a Spiritual Master is necessary?"
March
13, 2010:We have added a major new article, The
Significance of Recognition in the Way of Adidam, to
our FAQs
section. This
article explores such issues as: recognition as a Revelation,
not a belief (part 1); determining whether one has recognized
Adi Da as the Divine Person (part 1); recognition as the
primary requirement for becoming a devotee and for growing
in the Way of Adidam (part 2); how the recognition capability
is associated with spontaneous growth in the practice of
Adidam (part 3); the difference between a moment of recognition
and the moment-to-moment recognition capability (part 4);
how moments of recognition are Adi Da's gift to us, but
the recognition capability is our gift to Him (part 4);
and the "recognition consideration" for prospective
devotees, whose successful conclusion (the Revelation Itself)
dissolves all questions or doubts they may have about becoming
Adi Da's devotee (part 5).
February
1, 2010:We have added an article, Is
Adi Da Still Spiritually Active?, to our FAQs
section, which addresses the question: "Is Adi Da
still spiritually active, now that His human lifetime is over?"
January
30, 2010:We have added an article, Incorruptibility,
to our FAQs
section, which addresses the question: "Didn't Adi
Da state that His body was incorruptible or at least that
it would be suitable for display (if it did not resurrect)
for some years to come?"
January
27, 2010:We have added an article, Visiting
the Empowered Sanctuaries, to our FAQs
section, which addresses the question: "I'm not a
devotee, but I'm very interested in Adi Da and the Way of
Adidam. Can I visit any of the Empowered Sanctuaries?"
January
26, 2010:We have greatly expanded our two-part article,
Adidam
and Postmodernism, in our FAQs
section, which addresses the question: How does Adidam
compare with postmodernism? Doesn't postmodernism reject the
view that there is an ultimate Reality? Isn't Adidam oriented
around the view that there is an Ultimate Reality?
January
22, 2010: We great extended the story, The
Book of Light, in our section, Finding
Adi Da. Trish Mitchell describes what happened to her
when she opened Adi Da's book, The Dawn Horse Testament.
January
12, 2010: We added an article on Is
Adidam a Religion? to our Questions
about Adi Da and Adidam section. In parts of His Teaching,
Adi Da refers to Adidam as a religion, whereas in other parts,
He does not. This article reconciles the two viewpoints.
