Race,
Culture, and Spiritual Practice

and also about Western modes of living and thinking. Adi Da addresses his understanding
about cultural ways, drawing him into a deeper consideration about the choices
he is making in relation to the great Spiritual process.
Only
One Thing Wrong All Over the World
This talk was given in 1984 at The Mountain Of Attention, in Adi Da's residence,
The Manner Of Flowers. Adi Da Samraj describes how the entire culture of humankind's
current development is based on a core emotional problem, thus preventing the
possibility of true understanding of the entire esoteric being. He calls for growth
beyond this drama of limitation.

In this talk, Adi Da offers guidance on how to relate and serve children in the
process of fully maturing and becoming a loving, balanced human being, capable
of relating to others and to the Divine Itself.

of the developmental stages of life.
Use
Your Advantage!
While on a visit to New Zealand in March, 1988, Adi Da Samraj straightforwardly
answers a question a devotee asks about why it is taking so long for him to realize

Relinquish
Your Mediocrity Progressively!
While on a visit to New Zealand in March, 1988, Adi Da explains the difference
between a superficial ("mediocre") approach to the Way of the Heart (aka the Way

life and a serious approach.

is Your Intention?

His question is relevant to all practitioners and everyone considering practice:
What IS your intention? "Therefore, use your lifetime for the sake of Divine Self-Realization
in My Company. If you use it for anything less, then whatever is less becomes
your destiny."
Simply
Observe Yourself
While on a visit to New Zealand in March, 1988, Adi Da explains the simplicity
of observing oneself (in the context of the relationship with Him) and taking
appropriate measures (disciplines) based on what is observed. This talk speaks
of levels of responsibility within the culture of Adidam that relate to different
disciplines. These levels have been refined by Adi Da over the ensuing years and
thus these practices are outlined in a different manner at different levels.
The
Circle of Conductivity
While on a visit to New Zealand in March, 1988, Adi Da Samraj responds to a devotee's
question about the current in the circle of the body (its force, and responsibility
for it). This is a yogic dimension that is generally not open in most people but
which opens in the transmission relationship with Adi Da.
Being
Responsible for the Circle of Conductivity
While on a visit to New Zealand in March, 1988, Adi Da Samraj speaks about taking
up spiritual life and becoming involved in the spiritual process through the use
of the company of Spiritual Realizers. He also speaks about being responsible

about actually locating the Divine, through the tangible Transmission of the Spiritual
Master. This talk was given in 1984 at The Mountain Of Attention, in Adi Da's
residence, The Manner Of Flowers.

Am More Like You Than You Are

This process of Submitting Myself to you all involves physical suffering, because
in doing so I become you. I take on your mind-force, your karmas, your vision,
your state. I duplicate you in this body. I express you. I do the same things
as you. It is not Me it is a reflection, a mirror, a form of sacrificial participation."
