Part of an Avataric Revelation Discourse given at the Mountain of Attention Sanctuary, later published in Reality Is All The God There Is.

Adi Da offers His unique renderings of the Dharma of the great sages of Advaita Vedanta and Buddhism, including Gotama Sakyamuni, Nagarjuna, Shankara, and Ribhu. Rather than simply translate their teachings from available source texts, Avatar Adi Da respeaks them as one who has personally realized their truth. He reveals that the Buddhist “Nirvana” and the Advaitic “Brahman” point to the same Transcendental Condition. Avatar Adi Da’s rendering restores to these texts the profundity intended by the Spiritual Masters who created them.

At Adi Da Samrajashram, Adi Da describes how the advances in technology (in photography, video recording, etc.) have made His life and work uniquely available to future generations, in a way that simply was not possible during the time of Jesus and other great Spiritual Masters.

A key responsibility of the Adidam Archives is to do the work of preserving all of the various forms of recordings and documentation that Adi Da is describing. Of particular importance at the current time is the conversion of all temporary (perishable) forms (like audiocassettes; handwritten sheets of paper — Adi Da wrote all His books in this manner; etc.) into more permanent (digital) forms of recording and record. Terry Cafferty is an aerospace engineering consultant specializing in orbiting imaging systems, and has worked for NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Hughes Aircraft, and Raytheon. Terry tells how, even in the midst of a conventionally "successful" life, he became aware of his own inability to truly love, feel, and be in relationship with others. The crisis engendered by this realization led him to consider spiritual practice, and ultimately led him to his Spiritual Master, Avatar Adi Da Samraj.

In this excerpt from the talk, The Great Secret, Avatar Adi Da speaks about how growth in Spiritual terms depends on fulfilling the impulse of the heart: to live the sacred life by always living in contemplation of the "Sat-Guru", or Spiritual Master.

Adi Da: "So practice is not what you do alone when you are home. Practice is what you do with Me. Wherever you may be, you must find the Space of My Company. This is the Secret...you find It by "locating" that Attractiveness Itself, being attracted by It, being moved by It.

So this is a concentrated life, a life of contemplation, a life of being attracted, a life of gravitating toward the sacred domain... The movement of the heart is always to be right here, to be right where the Sat-Guru is. So the devotee finds every opportunity to do just that."

One of Adi Da's favorite cartoons, "The Sunshine Makers" is a classic from the golden age of animation. Released on January 11, 1935 (an auspicious day of the year, in the sacred calendar of Adidam), the cartoon was directed by Ted Eshbaugh, the first artist/technician to figure out how to create animated cartoons in color. This restored print is the highest quality available, and is from the DVD, Toddle Tales & Rainbow Parade Cartoons.

This is the beautiful story of how our friend, Cheech Marrero, found Adi Da. Cheech has been around Adi Da for a long time, since the early 1970's, and is a great example of what a person becomes after living a life around a great Spiritual Master like Adi Da.
