The third stage is life is the ongoing maturity from adolescence to adulthood or full maturity with the development of conceptual abstract mind and the psychic dimension of existence. There is discussion of the integration of this stage and the need to discipline the independent being.

Darshan given by Adi Da Samraj on December 24, 1995, in Land Bridge Pavilion at The Mountain Of Attention.

Devotee Andre Decio was present: "It took nine years of devotional practice before I saw my beloved Spiritual and Heart Master Avatara Adi Da Samraj. I went in November 1995, and then again in December. It was a culmination and affirmation of my entire and truest motivation in life. . . That has never changed, but only more and more intensified. I really want people to know that true heart surrender to Adi Da is the greatest and happiest possible committment in life. All else pales in comparison."

Ed Reither of The Beezone interviews longtime devotee James Steinberg. James tells how, even though he came to Adi Da because He was "a teacher who can deal with me", nonetheless there were moments when James resisted Adi Da's "dealing" with him. He tells the story of one such moment and how studying the details of the Guru-devotee relationship in the spiritual traditions helped move him into right relationship with his Guru.

In this excerpt from the talk, The Great Secret, Avatar Adi Da speaks about how growth in Spiritual terms depends on fulfilling the impulse of the heart: to live the sacred life by always living in contemplation of the "Sat-Guru", or Spiritual Master.

Adi Da: "So practice is not what you do alone when you are home. Practice is what you do with Me. Wherever you may be, you must find the Space of My Company. This is the Secret...you find It by "locating" that Attractiveness Itself, being attracted by It, being moved by It.

So this is a concentrated life, a life of contemplation, a life of being attracted, a life of gravitating toward the sacred domain... The movement of the heart is always to be right here, to be right where the Sat-Guru is. So the devotee finds every opportunity to do just that."

Adi Da's very humorous and wonderfully instructive talk from 1987, The Way Of Fun, about how, after being around His devotees, He "finally got it", that "it's time for the Siddhas" to adapt to modern times, "time for the Truth to change". This new way ("The Way of Fun") — for realizing God without requiring self-transcendence — will "require nothing of you except to really dig those Divine Vibes." The talk is Adi Da's masterful reflection of how the ego is always trying to revise the Way into something that is self-fulfilling rather than self-transcending, something that has no requirements and no difficulties, and that takes no time at all. "So whatever kind of association you have with Me . . . as long as it's fun, you're happy to do it. But if it requires anything of you, your resistance comes on immediately."
