From participants at recent events Steve hosted:
It was a profound experience for me. I was completely engaged
the entire time. A rarity. This was not a lecture or sermon.
It was something unlike anything I've experienced before.
Though I hadn't heard of Raymond Darling before this, or
any of the other characters mentioned, it didn't matter.
I can't say that I understood everything I heard and experienced.
But I can say that it resonated with me in a unique way
and I found it very moving. I want to learn and experience
more of this. Steve amazed me many times. What he did was
so much more than just "acting." His voice and gestures
were a conduit for something so much bigger than that. I
didn't feel like I was simply sitting there, watching and
listening. I felt like I was part of everything happening.
At one point toward the end, I became aware of everybody's
breathing and felt like we were all part of a larger organism,
which was itself part of a larger organism. I felt that
in such a different way than I have before. It was certainly
a transformative experience. This was a wonderful event,
and I feel incredibly grateful and honored that I got to
attend it. I feel like I just took my first few steps on
my journey back home.

Steve Brown's Event of The Mummery Book was filled
with Adi Da's direct Communication. I literally felt that
Steve was in egoless divine communion with Adi Da, enabling
Him to speak and act through His devotee. There was a tangibly
visible sense that Steve was not abstracting himself from
The Mummery Book, but was instead allowing its Communication
to be lived presently. I felt and understood The Mummery
Book as Adi Da Himself and as myself in a Mysterious
manner which I find hard to fully elucidate. Nonetheless
it had a powerful impact that has stayed with me, and I
am presently reading it with new eyes and ears.

I'm so glad that I was able to attend the Mummery
event yesterday. I have never experienced anything like
what I saw, heard, and felt. What Steve talked about really
resonated deeply within me — especially regarding the ego.
This is what I continuously go through, each and every moment
of not identifying "myself" with the ego. It's so easy to
slip up and fall into that patterning but then through Adi
Da, I let go of all that and just simply turn and commune
with Him. My heart was deeply moved.

The retreat center here is filled with beautiful
flowers and [Adi Da's] most palpable Presence. This afternoon
Steve Brown presented his "performance enhanced" sacred
arts presentation taken from The Orpheum Trilogy.
I cannot fully express, without sending my whole heart to
you, just how extremely powerful Steve's "whole body puja"
was. He was "on fire" with heart felt magnification of [Adi
Da's] Dharma and superbly brought to life the Prologue,
among many other excerpts from The Mummery Book.
I am still feeling the heightened energy of Beloved's Dharma
from Steve's nearly three and half hour "event".
