La cantante y compositora Jacqueline Clemons canta "La Oración Universal", una oración por la paz escrita por Adi Da Samraj. Música de Nick Milo y Jacqueline Clemons.

Beloved, Inmost Heart of every heart,
do not Let our human hearts be broken
by our merely mortal suffering here —
but Make our mortal human hearts break-Free
to an unconditional love of You,
that we may, Thus, love all living beings
with Love's own True, and Truly broken, Heart.

Composed by Jacqueline Clemons and Nick Milo, and sung by Jacqueline Clemons, this soulful rendition of Adi Da's prayer for world peace, "The Universal World-Prayer", was sung many times at The Parliament of the World's Religions in Cape Town, South Africa, in December, 1999.

The song accompanies a slideshow of pictures of Adi Da.

The song can be found on Jacqueline's album, In the Garden of Fear-No-More.

Adi Da's Universal World-Prayer coincides with His Instructions to not "live the Law backwards": trying to love others (or attempting to bring about world peace), while failing to first love God (and have our love of others be the overflow of our communion with God).

Adi Da critique le sectarisme religieux. Ce discours, donné en 1978, est une de ses allocutions récapitulatives sur le sujet.

Adi Da criticized religious cultism, long before the subject gained any popular attention. (For an audio clip of His earliest criticisms — in June, 1972 — click here.) This discourse, "Qu'est-ce que le Sectarisme?" ("What Is Cultism?"), given in 1978 at The Mountain Of Attention, is one of His summary addresses on the subject. Adi Da observes that the primary characteristic of a cult member is shared enthusiasm (like enjoying the energy of the crowd at a football game). For example, in "the cult of the Spiritual Master", everybody is enjoying the enthusiasm (their own and each other's) associated with having "found" the great Master; but no one is actually engaged in significant deepening of the devotional and spiritual relationship with the Master, and practicing on that basis — hence no Spiritual growth or Realization occurs.

Adi Da: "My purpose in My Teaching is to make it possible for you to duplicate what I have done — not to be eternally separated from Me, but to be in Communion with Me — to be intimate with Me in Spiritual terms, so that you, yourself, may live this practice, and fulfill it in your own case."

This video excerpt, "Das große Geheimnis" ("The Great Secret") is from the DVD, The Great Secret, which is Volume 3 of the 20th Anniversary Series.

There is a great Secret that has been known since before recorded history to those who are most serious about Spiritual life. It is the Secret of Liberation from the dead-end of seeking and a life of unhappiness. To discover this Secret is the true heart-desire of every being.

Avatar Adi Da Samraj describes the Realization of Truth and Its necessary practical foundation in these excerpts from Discourses given in 1988 at the Mountain Of Attention Sanctuary in northern California and at Adi Da Samrajashram Hermitage in Fiji.

ADI DA: Since the ancient days it has been said that if Real-God-Realization, Liberation, or Enlightenment is the purpose of your life, the best thing you can do is spend your time in the Company of a Realizer. It is by sympathetic association with the Realizer, Communion with the Realizer, that Realization is accomplished, and not by "self"-effort.

From a question and answer session with Adi Da on October 28, 1978, in Land Bridge Pavilion at the Mountain Of Attention Sanctuary in Northern California. This is track 2 on the DVD, Surrender of self Is A Koan.

In this excerpt, Adi Da Samraj considers the spiritual transformation of a human being, and states of the body-mind. The real spiritual process is not based on effort or having more (or greater) experiences, even in the mystical dimension. In the true spiritual process, experience, in all its forms (first physical and then mystical), must be transcended through our heart-based practice of God-Communion.

Adi Da kritisoi uskonnollista kultismia. Hän kiteyttää sanomansa aiheesta tässä puheessa vuodelta 1978.
