Musical Offering to Adi Da by His Devotees

It was common during Adi Da's lifetime for His devotees to offer musical performances to Him as gifts of their gratitude and love. This video excerpt form 2013, five years after His Bodily passing, includes a variety of music, including traditional Indian chanting, a choral rendition and adaption of Beethoven's Ode to Joy and even gospel music! We offer this excerpt in this world-wide season of celebration and gratitude for the unity of humankind.

This video clip features performances from many devotees, including Mel McMurrin singing "Mary Don’t You Weep", Crane Kirkbride ("Ode to Divine Joy"), the voices of the Adidam Choir, and the piano-playing of Naamleela Free Jones. You can also hear the Choir singing devotee and Billboard Award-winning composer Ray Lynch's song, "This Is the Great Gift".

Available as a CD, Ode To Divine Joy, from the Dawn Horse Press.

Contemplative Video of 2025 Image-Art Calendar Images & Quotes

The 2025 Image-Art Calendar, "Transcendental Realism: Self-Portraits of Reality Itself" is now available.

Celebrating 25 years since the "Initiation of Free Light-Imagery" (in June of 2000), the 2025 Image-Art Calendar is a selection of Adi Da’s artistic works from the late 1960s through 2008. Each image exemplifies a unique period of Adi Da’s aesthetic expression, while demonstrating his entire body of artistic work as a singular communication of beauty and profundity beyond "point of view". It is a sublime and enduring communication of Transcendental Realism!

This contemplative video is a reading of the quotes accompanying the images on the calendar, along with the images themselves.

Music is "Noon Dreams", from John Wubbenhorst, Bansuri Dreams.

Fluid Force, Fat Water: The Da Chi Gong Leela

Ted Progler has been a devotee of Adi Da since 1976. He was a long term practitioner of the "Original Daoist 8 Limbs (or Schools) of Chinese Medicine", wherein Chi Gong is the 2nd School. Ted apprenticed with Lao Ge (aka Charles Belyea), the lineage holder of Original Medical Daoism in the United States and co-founder of the Five Branches University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. From early 2001 until the Divine Mahasamadhi of Adi Da Samraj in late November 2008, Ted was instructed directly by Adi Da in His "Systems-Based Approach to Health & Healing" and His Right Life Yogic Conductivity practices. Ted now only practices and teaches Adi Da's "Systems-Based Approach to Health & Healing", which is a subset of Right Life Yogic Conductivity.

In Ted's depth research and practice of human health and healing over 35 years, it is his personal proclamation that, just as Adi Da Samraj "completed" the Spiritual Dharmas of the Great Traditions of Spirituality, so too did He "complete" the Wisdom practices of human health and healing with His Systems-Based Approach to Health and Healing. The Systems-Based Approach to Health and Healing of Adi Da Samraj is the most fully integrated Health and Healing Systems for human beings, fully integrating how to cooperatively participate with all scales and forms of Reality existence for the purpose of supporting fullest Divine Realization Practice. If you are interested in receiving information about the Systems-Based Approach to Health and Healing of Adi Da Samraj, please email Ted at tprogler@gmail.com.

In this audio clip, Ted tells a leela about a gathering with Adi Da during the “Dancing Down the Light” gathering period. The gathering took place in early March, 2001, in the entry hall of Adi Da’s residence, the Manner Of Flowers, at the Mountain Of Attention.

In the gathering, Ted gave Adi Da a description and demonstration of his Chi Gong practice. Adi Da then talked extensively about Chi Gong, Gong, Chi, Da Chi Gong, and the larger context of energy conductivity with the devotees who were present. Adi Da also talked about the process of making His Image-Art, and how difficult that was for Him physically, requiring a profound conductivity practice.

Michael Shaw and James Alwood (who also were at the same gathering with Adi Da) contribute additional commentary on occasion.

For more about conductivity practice, read Adi Da’s book, Conductivity Healing.

Kokemuksen ansa

[Contains Finnish subtitles. If the CC icon ("Subtitles/closed captions") has a red line under it, the subtitles should appear. If you don't see them, just press the CC icon to turn them on.]

In "Kokemuksen ansa" ("The Trap of Experience"), a video excerpt from an Avataric Discourse given on September 1, 2004, Adi Da addresses the fact that people tend to value good experiences and shun the bad ones. Adi Da reveals that all experience — positive or negative — is inherently binding (which may come as a surprise to many).

This video clip is an excerpt from the DVD, Beyond The Trap of Experience.

Fundraiser for practice transition retreat

[THIS FUNDRAISER IS NOW CLOSED. WE REACHED 100% OF THE GOAL WITH JUST AN HOUR LEFT! GREAT THANKS TO THE 50 PEOPLE WHO CONTRIBUTED. HAVE A WONDERFUL RETREAT, MEG! ]

Hello everyone,

My name is Megan Van Niekerk. I am a 24 year old Youth Fellowship devotee of Avatar Adi Da Samraj. I am a South African, and am currently living in Cape Town studying a Eurythmy BA degree at the Centre for Creative Education. I am currently in my third year of study.

I have been a formal devotee in the Youth Fellowship for over a year now and I would like to make my transition into the Second Congregation this year. I have been invited to travel up to the European Danda to meet the community living there and to make my transition. I would like to travel up at the end of June 2024 as this is the best time to do so during my college holidays.

It my heart’s desire to travel to a space that has been Empowered by Adi Da, and to experience the living quality of a community devoted to Him. There are only five South African devotees and we are scattered across the country, far away from each other. So I have not yet experienced Guruvaras or Celebrations with other devotees, despite having taken part online. I would love to experience what it is love to collectively invoke and praise Adi Da!

Unfortunately, I am not earning an income at the moment due to my studies and am living on a simple student allowance. And due to the short amount of time between now and June, it does not feel possible for me to save up the amount that I need to make this journey happen.

My target amount to make this trip possible is R40000 which converts to about 1900EU and $2000 (US). The link for making a donation is:
https://www.backabuddy.co.za/campaign/help-meg-go-on-retreat-to-the-danda-in-maria-hoop.

I am deeply grateful to anyone who feels moved to donate and make this journey possible!

With love, thank you.

Da!

Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas: A Danavira Mela Consideration

CHRIS: Happy Danavira Mela to everyone!

I’ve sung Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas to Beloved Adi Da many times over the years — at the Manner of Flowers, at Adi Da Samrajashram, at First People / Great Food Dish, etc. (as one of a small group of singers, and usually also as the keyboardist) — and I’m singing it to Him again (and all of you!) here. It is one of my favorite songs at this time of year.

For me (starting with Judy Garland's original film version), it has always been an emotion-filled song, by turns joyful, playful, nostalgic, and wistful — so that is how I sing it here. The karaoke arrangement is based on Michael Bublé's version.
