An excerpt from the CD, The Dual Sensitivity That Moves The Heart: Two Discourses Given by His Divine Presence Avatar Adi Da Samraj, June 20 and 21, 1995.

In these exquisite Discourses, which were recorded over two consecutive nights on the island of Naitauba in Fiji, Avatar Adi Da Communicated essential Instruction on what He calls the "dual sensitivity" — or, the simultaneous sensitivity to the suffering of mortal existence and to the heart's impulse toward True Happiness.

ADI DA: It is not sufficient just to always remember that this is not paradise, that this is mortality-land, everything passes. . . . You must realize that your heart-disposition . . . cannot be satisfied with anything less than Infinite, Absolute Happiness, or Divine Realization. And on the basis of that dual sensitivity, I Call you to respond to Me.

Vanessa Kenoyer, a devotee of Avatar Adi Da, speaks about His Unique Offering and how it differs from other approaches. In an excerpt from one of His essays, "There Is A Way And Reality Itself Is It" (in The Aletheon), Adi Da states: "What I Bring to here is not mythology. What I Bring to here is not ‘religion’. What I Bring to here is not anything that human beings already ‘know’. What I Bring to here is not a path or a search that is already evident in the history of the Great Tradition of humankind. What I Bring to here has never been offered before, never heard of before, never practiced before."

Tässä otteessa Avatar Adi Da Samrajin antamasta puheesta syyskuulta 2004, Hän käsittelee ihmisten taipumusta arvostaa hyviä kokemuksia ja vältellä pahoja. Avatar Adi Da paljastaa, että kaikki kokemus on luontaisesti sitovaa, joka tulee monelle yllätyksenä. Positiivinen tai negatiivinen, sillä ei ole väliä!

In "Kokemuksen ansa" ("The Trap of Experience"), a video excerpt from an Avataric Discourse given on September 1, 2004, Adi Da addresses the fact that people tend to value good experiences and shun the bad ones. Adi Da reveals that all experience — positive or negative — is inherently binding (which may come as a surprise to many).

Avatar Adi Da Samraj puhuu "sadhanan", tai hengellisen harjoituksen, välttämättömyydesta suhteessa Jumalan Toteuttaneeseen Hengelliseen Mestariin.

On July 2, 1988, in Land Bridge Pavilion at The Mountain Of Attention, Adi Da gives the talk, "Contemplation, Satsang, Sadhana", which would appear in the May/June 1988 issue of Crazy Wisdom Magazine.

In this excerpt, "Omistaudu Jumalan Toteutukselle" ("Devote Your Life To God-Realization"), Adi Da speaks about the necessity for "sadhana", or spiritual practice, in relationship to the God-Realized Spiritual Master.

"All there is is a mechanism to be dealt with. You're not uniquely born. It's the same mechanism as in all other cases. And, in all cases it requires a tremendous ordeal."

Beginning at 17:30 (and continuing to the end of this video), a formal Darshan occasion is shown.

Hello everyone,

My name is Megan Van Niekerk. I am a 24 year old Youth Fellowship devotee of Avatar Adi Da Samraj. I am a South African, and am currently living in Cape Town studying a Eurythmy BA degree at the Centre for Creative Education. I am currently in my third year of study.

I have been a formal devotee in the Youth Fellowship for over a year now and I would like to make my transition into the Second Congregation this year. I have been invited to travel up to the European Danda to meet the community living there and to make my transition. I would like to travel up at the end of June 2024 as this is the best time to do so during my college holidays.

It my heart’s desire to travel to a space that has been Empowered by Adi Da, and to experience the living quality of a community devoted to Him. There are only five South African devotees and we are scattered across the country, far away from each other. So I have not yet experienced Guruvaras or Celebrations with other devotees, despite having taken part online. I would love to experience what it is love to collectively invoke and praise Adi Da!

Unfortunately, I am not earning an income at the moment due to my studies and am living on a simple student allowance. And due to the short amount of time between now and June, it does not feel possible for me to save up the amount that I need to make this journey happen.
