Excerpt from an Avataric Discourse by Adi Da (at 5:35) — The Discourse is "My Teaching is a Direct Transmission of Me", from October 28, 2005. Adi Da talks about how His Teaching Word is a form of Spiritual Transmission, that enables Divine Communion with Him (if the devotee is in the right devotional disposition), in the same way that a Murti photograph does, or any of the other forms of Agency that Adi Da has created for this purpose.

Megan talks about Adi Da's great, final masterpiece, The Aletheon as the purest communication and Transmission of Adi Da Himself (among all His many, extraordinary books), and describes receiving the Revelation of Adi Da as she was proofreading The Aletheon before its publication.

No one like me has appeared in this place before. Am I only to live and die, and thus feed the earth? Should I only live and die, and thus create the mystery of a holy ground? Will generations pass this place of my dilemmas, feel the movements under foot and never know the reasons and the meaning of the currents of bliss that fill them? Will the earth itself perform my only shout? Will the rot of my few bodies be my only song? Will no one understand? In this talk, "Nutzt Euer Leben" ("Use Your Life") from 1988, Adi Da discusses death, and how, through consideration, we can (and should) very readily come to the certainty that we survive death. Given that certainty, we then should practice not merely for the sake of improving one's circumstance while alive, but in the context of Eternity, relative to the Great Matter in God: the Realization of the Divine.

On November 2, 2013, the eve of the seventy-fourth anniversary of Avatar Adi Da’s Birth (Da Jayanthi), a live concert was held at The Mountain Of Attention Sanctuary in Northern California to celebrate His Eternal Blessing of all. The recording of this concert is now available on a CD, Ode to Divine Joy.
This audio clip contains a sample medley from the CD, featuring the voices of devotees JoAnne Sunshine ("Made by Your Hand"), Mel McMurrin ("Mary Don’t You Weep"), and Crane Kirkbride ("Ode to Divine Joy"), the voices of the Adidam Choir, and the piano-playing of Naamleela Free Jones. You can also hear the Choir singing devotee and Billboard Award-winning composer Ray Lynch's song, "This Is the Great Gift".
The rendition of Beethoven's "Ode To Joy" (retitled "Ode To Divine Joy" with new, devotional lyrics) performed during the concert was a unique fusion of two performances: the live performance and a 1990 studio recording played as accompaniment. This unique amalgam of both studio and live performances of Ode to Divine Joy, as well as all of the other pieces of the live concert included on this CD, are offered in the spirit of celebration and gratitude.
"Turaga Dau Loloma Vunirarama" is a title given to Avatar Adi Da by the native Fijians of Naitauba: "The Great Lord [Turaga] Who Is The Divine Adept [Dau] Of The Divine Love [Loloma] and The Self-Radiant Divine Source and Substance [Vu] Of [ni] The Divine 'Brightness' [Rarama]".

In this talk from 1978, Adi Da notes that cultism is rooted in the childish need to believe and to depend on a person, group, myth, or symbol — without assuming responsibility for oneself. He then points out that the tendency to create a cult (of whatever kind) is present in everyone, every level of human society and culture. Adi Da criticizes the tendency toward cultism in the world at large and within His community of devotees. He calls His devotees to understand and relinquish all modes of false and childish dependency on Him as a Spiritual Master, and to make only the most serious and mature approach to Him, for the great purpose of Spiritual Awakening and Divine Enlightenment.

Avatar Adi Da gave this talk in 1988. The jumping off point for His talk is some mathematical ideas about number and infinity (including different kinds of infinity) that He studied while He was a student at Columbia University. Adi Da makes the point that all such ideas (even the idea of infinity) are limited abstractions motivated by the human need to control. In contrast, Reality Itself is not limited, and is always already free.
