Winter’s cold alternates with summer’s heat. Pain, Likewise, Follows every pleasure. Every appearance Is (Inevitably) Followed By its disappearance. There Is No Permanent “experience” In The Realm Of Cosmic Nature. One whose Whole bodily Devotion To Me Is Constant Simply Allows All Of This To Be So. Adi Da: "The presumption of being [the presumption of one's own existence] is not made on the basis of [scientific observations of nature]. . . The force of being itself is self-authenticating.. . . The Consciousness that is single is not evident in the body. . . In the profundity of the research into that presumption of being (rather than the mechanical associations of it), we realize - intuitively, directly - the Being that is to be presumed to be ultimately associated with all of nature."

In late 2002 and early 2003, Adi Da Samraj created the photographic suite, Quandra Loka. The images are generally multiple exposures on a single black-and-white frame of film. Adi Da then created configurations (diptychs, triptychs, and polyptychs) from the single frame images.
Music is "Facing Beloved", from the CD, Facing Beloved, with John Wubbenhorst (bansuri), Subash Chandran (ghatam) and Ganesh Kumar (kanjira). This piece is based on a melody from J.S. Bach (siciliano) with elements of Raga Kirwani.
This excerpt is from one the Adidam Revelation Discourse of November 6, 2004. Adi Da proposes that all human lifetimes are a “quest for the historical self”. He describes how this search is based on the activity of “self”-contraction — the erroneous presumption of an actual, defined, knowable “self”. His Discourse exposes that neither experience nor memory nor the sensations of the physical body actually define a separate entity. The “I” is a fiction, a lie—and Reality Itself is Self-Evident only when the activity of the “self”-contraction is transcended.
In this discourse, Adi Da proposes that all human lifetimes are a “quest for the historical self”. He describes how this search is based on the activity of “self”-contraction — the erroneous presumption of an actual, defined, knowable “self”.

On a rainy afternoon at The Mountain Of Attention Sanctuary in 2006, Avatar Adi Da Samraj gave what would be His final discourse in this form (with questions and answers) to His devotees, for the sake of all. He began the occasion with exquisite recitations of His Renderings of key statements from the Buddhist Sages Gotama Sakyamuni (known as “the Buddha”) and Nagarjuna.
These recordings are now available on the 3-CD set, The Reality-Teachings of the Buddhist Sages, the third volume in The Gnosticon Discourse Series from the Dawn Horse Press.
Adi Da’s Renderings bring these traditional Buddhist texts to life in a unique manner. As He speaks these ancient gems of instruction, the truth of each text comes through and penetrates the heart. While listening, you might feel that you are now not only in the room with Adi Da Samraj, but also with the Buddhist Sages Gotama Sakyamuni and Nagarjuna!
