While Adi Da recommends a maximally raw diet [see Adi Da's Green Gorilla], the Sanctuary Kitchen occasionally makes a cooked dish drawn from the broader vegetarian cuisine. In this video, Douglas Short, the head chef at First People (the kitchen for The Mountain Of Attention Sanctuary), instructs us on how to make quinoa tabouli. Douglas also shows us a nice trick for dicing tomatoes efficiently with a very sharp knife.

The Adi Da Museum of Art is dedicated to the promotion of the art of Adi Da Samraj through exhibitions, lectures, round-table discussions, documentaries as well as seminars on his art and its relationship to various artistic traditions. The Adi Da Museum of Art also exhibits works and supports scholarship inspired by the art and philosophy of Adi Da Samraj.
The gallery maintains a permanent exhibition of works by Adi Da Samraj and is open from Wednesday to Saturday, and once a month on a Sunday, but can also be visited by appointment. The gallery is located in an old monastery in Maria Hoop in the south of Holland close to the borders of Germany and Belgium.
In this talk, Adi Da offers guidance on how to relate and serve children in the process of fully maturing and becoming a loving, balanced human being, capable of relating to others and to the Divine Itself.
This talk excerpt can be found on the CD, Remember About Being Happy: Instructions to and about Children. On this CD, Adi Da gives humorous and loving answers to questions from children and speaks of the freedom and the responsibility that parents and guides must grant to children for the sake of their “growth and out-growing”.

Tom Williams, a former Presbyterian minister and longtime devotee of Avatar Adi Da, tells the story of how he "fell in love with God". He describes how he moved from an ordinary childhood, to study for the ministry, to despair that his faith and his service had failed to deepen his relationship to God. In a personal crisis, he became a pastoral counselor and then a marriage and family counselor — before finally finding the books of Avatar Adi Da and at last receiving the gift of sighting his Heart-Master at the "Love of the God-Man" celebration in northern California in 1984.
At Adi Da Samrajashram, Adi Da describes how the advances in technology (in photography, video recording, etc.) have made His life and work uniquely available to future generations, in a way that simply was not possible during the time of Jesus and other great Spiritual Masters.
A key responsibility of the Adidam Archives is to do the work of preserving all of the various forms of recordings and documentation that Adi Da is describing. Of particular importance at the current time is the conversion of all temporary (perishable) forms (like audiocassettes; handwritten sheets of paper — Adi Da wrote all His books in this manner; etc.) into more permanent (digital) forms of recording and record. In December 1983, two months after Adi Da's arrival at Adi Da Samrajashram (on the island of Naitauba in Fiji), an accident occurred that would have been fatal without Avatar Adi Da's Intervention. The story of that incident is told by two people: Frans Bakker, one of the doctors involved; and Tom Closser, the devotee to whom the accident occurred, who describes his near-death experience, and a profound lesson about how "guilt" can become a self-destructive impediment to growth.
