John Wubbenhorst (bansuri) and Samrat Kakkeri (tabla) will be playing North Indian ragas. John will also tell leelas of his recent five weeks in Fiji at Adi Da Samrajashram. The concert is a special fund raising event for Bright World Arts, a unique non-profit group promoting the arts.

At Adi Da Samrajashram, Adi Da describes how the advances in technology (in photography, video recording, etc.) have made His life and work uniquely available to future generations, in a way that simply was not possible during the time of Jesus and other great Spiritual Masters.
A key responsibility of the Adidam Archives is to do the work of preserving all of the various forms of recordings and documentation that Adi Da is describing. Of particular importance at the current time is the conversion of all temporary (perishable) forms (like audiocassettes; handwritten sheets of paper — Adi Da wrote all His books in this manner; etc.) into more permanent (digital) forms of recording and record. You can help!

The essay being recited is Principles Regarding A Global Cooperative Forum: On The Dangers Of The Old "Tribalisms" and The Necessity For A Global Cooperative Forum Based On The Prior Unity of Humankind.

Tom Williams, a former Presbyterian minister and longtime devotee of Avatar Adi Da, tells the story of how he "fell in love with God". He describes how he moved from an ordinary childhood, to study for the ministry, to despair that his faith and his service had failed to deepen his relationship to God. In a personal crisis, he became a pastoral counselor and then a marriage and family counselor — before finally finding the books of Avatar Adi Da and at last receiving the gift of sighting his Heart-Master at the "Love of the God-Man" celebration in northern California in 1984.

Take part in an ecstatic evening of music, dancing, stories, refreshments and good company. The occasion will feature classical Indian music with John Wubbenhorst (bansuri), Samrat Kakkari (tabla). At the end of the evening will be trance dancing with the East/West jazz fusion group, "Facing East Trio". The evening is dedicated to the spiritual inspiration of Avatar Adi Da Samraj.
