Track 5 from Pauline Chew's album, Songs For Baba Da. . . And The World.

Words are from poem 43 in Adi Da's book of poetry, Crazy Da Must Sing.

My loved one sits upon my knee.
My left hand is on her head.
My right hand guides
her listening to my Heart.
My touching awakens her need,
her love for me,
and makes her know me while I speak.

My loved one lies with me.
Our loving appears as every form
of all the worlds.
Our sounds together
make all sounds.
We are the thing that is seen and heard.
We are the rhythmed mind of everything.

Troubles arise for one
who does not know the act
in which he lives.
Therefore, I display the image
of my loved one and me.
One who does not understand
gains power for his lust in holy places.
But one who understands
becomes the lovers’ act that is.

May You Ever Dwell In Our Hearts is a deeply moving, sacred, contemplative CD that celebrates Adi Da's Life of Love and Blessing. This tribute to Adi Da Samraj includes music from many different genres, ranging from Indian classical to jazz to world music and other contemporary styles.

Some of the twenty-five pieces on May You Ever Dwell In Our Hearts were written and offered in the days immediately following Adi Da's Passing on November 27, 2008, or in the year-long period of formal mourning that followed. Other songs were offered to Him in person during His Lifetime. This CD also contains new songs never released before by Naamleela, Tamarind, and other musicians.

Chris Tong sings "Adi Da Beloved" — a devotional version of the traditional Christmas carol, "Angels We Have Heard On High".

Words, musical arrangement, and performance by Chris Tong, in the manner of other ecstatic, dramatic, immersive musical pieces like the “Hallelujah Chorus” (the finale of Handel's Messiah) and “Ode To Joy” (the finale of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony).

instruments: synthesizers, horns, flute, piano, violin, bass, drums, bells.

Thanks to my dear friend, Crane Kirkbride, whose own beautiful singing of music like this inspired me to create Adi Da Beloved. Crane also gave me some very helpful singing tips after listening to an earlier version.

This audio is also part of an article, Adi Da and Holiday Music.

ADI DA BELOVED

All the world awaited Him,
Praying for the Promised Lord.
Then He found a Way to here. . .
Now He's here forever more.

Da, Adi Da, Adi Da Beloved.
Da, Adi Da, Adi Da Beloved.

He is Consciousness Itself,
All-Pervading,
not apart,
freeing us from separate self,
Shining "Bright" in every heart.

Da, Adi Da, Adi Da Beloved.
Da, Adi Da, Adi Da Beloved.

All will feel His Presence here
make this world a Sacred Place.
Praise Him for His Sacrifice!
Praise Him for His Blessing Grace!

Da, Adi Da, Adi Da Beloved.
Da, Adi Da, Adi Da Beloved.

Adi Da recites "The Heart of Understanding", the Prologue to His autobiography, The Knee Of Listening. The recitation is accompanied by photos of Adi Da.

"The Heart of Understanding" is extraordinarily good news: death itself can be transcended! Death is not a problem, and is utterly acceptable, if one realizes and stands as Consciousness Itself, in which all mortal forms and limited worlds are arising.

In the final words of "The Heart of Understanding", Adi Da reveals that He is That: Consciousness Itself. Because this is so, He transmits that Revelation to all beings, and provides (and is) the means whereby all of us finally can be free of mortality and the mortal vision.

Stanley Hastings talks about his childhood and adolescence growing up in the Adidam community. Like many other young people, as a teenager, he decided to see for himself what the world had to offer. After several years of experimenting, he decided to return to Adi Da and the Way of life He offered — to fully participate again in the life of the community and to serve Adi Da directly.

Track 5 from Sally Jamila's CD of devotional music, Invocation.

Intended to create a rich soundscape through meditative invocation, Invocation weaves together eclectic world music with the tradition of a spiritual practice. The result is an album that creates contemplative calm and an invitation to feel That Which Is All-Pervading. Bhagavan Adi Da Samraj asked that this album be placed on the "Favorites" list of His personal iPods.

The Divine Image-Art of Adi Da Samraj: A Meditation on the Divine Love-Bliss, on the Divine LIGHT of Lights.

Only that which is loved is beautiful.... The necessary essence of art is Love.... Love must be the mother of the arts, not architecture, not structure, not function. True art always involves the observer in the participatory gesture of being, or what we call love.... Where the sacred is absent, then the best art can do is meditate on the beautiful and bring people to feel that. But there is nothing beautiful without love.

My Art is the Art of Heart-Participation, Heart-Activity. It is Art made of feeling, rather than of a perception or a conception merely. The total field of feeling — perceptually located, ecstatically Realized—is the content of My Artwork.
Avatar Adi Da Samraj

Adi Da Samraj's Image-Art reflects His extraordinary Divine Purification and Blessing Work with the world.

There Is Only Light.
Light Is All There Is.
All That Is Is Light.

Avatar Adi Da Samraj

The music is by Ray Lynch, from his albums, Deep Breakfast and The Sky Of Mind (the part with the singing bells).

John Wubbenhorst, who has played for Bhagavan Adi Da many times, will be offering bansuri. Dhrupad vocals will be offered by Nirmalya Dey and Ashoka Dhar. Rishabh Dhar will be playing pakhawaj. Felix Woldenberg will lead us in chanting.

Adi Da: "The worship that occurs in Sacred Arts is surrender to the Divine Form and through that surrender, reception of the Divine Shakti or the Divine Energy of that Divine Form. If you surrender to the Divine Form in the Bodily Human Divine Form of the Guru, then the Divine Shakti will move you. To practice Sacred Art, you must surrender to the Guru and receive the Guru’s Transmission. The Guru's Divine Transmission does the sacred art."

An Introduction to Avatar Adi Da Samrajvideo
part 1 of Reality, Truth and Conscious Light

Adi Da's entire human lifetime was a unique demonstration of His Eternal Form — the State He calls the "Bright", the Conscious Light that is Reality Itself.

From His birth on November 3, 1939 on Long Island in New York, to His passing from the body on November 27, 2008, on the Island of Naitauba, Fiji, His Life is the story of the Intervention of the "Bright" in human time.

The fruits of Avatar Adi Da's Lifetime are the establishment of a new and unique possibility for the transformation of all beings and the world itself. His Revelation is of the Divine Reality, which is always Shining — like the sun — as the Prior Condition of every one and every thing.

Adi Da has always said that the Way He Teaches is an ego-transcending relationship, rather than an ego-serving technique. The Way is founded on devotional recognition and response to Him. It is a silent, wordless intuition in the heart of one’s being—not a matter of mere belief, ideas, or techniques to seek for fulfillment (whether material or spiritual). To all who respond to Him with devotion and self-discipline, Adi Da Reveals the Very Divine Condition—the Love-Bliss-Light of Consciousness Itself.

This video provides a brief overview of Avatar Adi Da's life and work, and is an invitation to enter into Spiritual relationship to Him for the sake of Divine Realization.

Adi Da: "I Demonstrate Totality to here. I Reveal Reality Itself, Which Is Divine in Its Totality—not fractioned by humankind, not changed or limited by humankind. I Function in an egoless Transcendental Spiritual (and, Thus, Super-normal) Manner. I am not here limited as a gross (physical) phenomenon. When I am Really 'Located', My Transcendental Spiritual Self-Transmission is literal and undeniable. My Transcendental Spiritual Self-Transmission Is the 'Proof' that Reality—and the 'world' altogether—is of an entirely different Nature than people otherwise suppose."

Ruchiradama Nadikanta has created a series of seven recitations from Adi Da's book, Not-Two Is Peace, accompanied by the bansuri flute music of John Wubbenhorst.

This is Recitation 1: Introduction.

World-Friend Adi Da: "The old moral, social, and political order of humankind is now dead. A new and true and right order of humankind is, now, and forever hereafter, necessary. This Free Declaration is the Seed-Utterance of that new and necessary true and right (and truly globally, totally, and universally cooperative) order."

INVOCATION
offered by Ruchiradama Nadikanta

Dearly Beloved Bhagavan, Adi Da Samraj,
we surrender at Your Blessed Feet in deepest devotion to You,
the Divine Avatar of Conscious Light.

We pray to fulfill Your Urgent Calling
to fully serve the establishment of Your Divine Avataric Work in this world,
so that all may feel Your Touch of Divine Love
and receive Your Perfect Wisdom and Divine Grace

May we collectively incarnate
(and, thereby, inspire all to heed)
Your Great Admonition,
Cooperation + Tolerance = Peace.

May we embrace all beings everywhere,
always making available to everyone the Gift of Divine Compassion
and all-Embracing Love You have Brought to here.

We bow at Your Holy Feet in love and deepest gratitude, now and forever.

From July, 2015 through May, 2016, longtime devotee Gerald Sheinfeld embarked on a worldwide "Leela Tour" spanning 50 locations in 10 countries. (The tour stops are listed below.) The tour was in anticipation of the release of Gerald's forthcoming book, At The Feet of the Spiritual Master: Stories from My Life with Avatar Adi Da Samraj.

The quality of this audio clip is not perfect, but clear enough to understand. For higher quality, and more material, you can now purchase a downloadable album, At the Feet of the Spiritual Master.

Gerald tells many more stories of his life of more than 45 years with Adi Da in his book, At the Feet of the Spiritual Master.

"Avadhoota Stotram" is by Alexandra Fry. It is track 4 from Disc One of the double CD, May You Ever Dwell In Our Hearts.

"Avadhoota Stotram" ("Hymn Praising the Avadhoot") is a traditional hymn that Swami Muktananda adapted to praise his Guru, Bhagavan Nityananda. In this English version, Adi Da's devotees adapt the hymn to praise their Divine Avadhoot, Adi Da.

With over two hours of devotional songs filling this double CD, you can listen to pieces composed and performed by many devotee artists, including Naamleela Free Jones, Tamarind Free Jones, Ray Lynch, John Wubbenhorst, John Mackay, Sally Howe, Crane Kirkbride, Antonina Randazzo, Katya Grineva and many others.
